Small power setups are inexpensive, simple, and forgiving.  Large power setups are expensive, complex, and unforgiving. 


People who are tied to one places that requires A/C, or who require powerhungry appliances may be better off renting an RV spot monthly and just plugging in with an extension cord. One could live in a monthly rate campsite for 6.5 months (full hookups) for the money it would take to set up solar to run A/C.
