Configurable PWM solar charge controllers

Because of the lower price point of PWM controllers they are often less configurable than MPPT controllers. Still, PWM controllers with configurable setpoints do exist.

The TriStar TS-45, and TS-60 PWM professional grade controllers are configurable with a cable.

Note that the MPPT variants are also called TriStar but the model numbers are TS-MPPT-45, TS-MPPT-60, and there is also a 30A TS-MPPT-30 unit for which there is no PWM counterpart.

The Duo (two battery) line is configurable with MSView.

The Victron PWM-pro is fully programmable by USB adapter and free software.

EPsolar's Landstar B series is configurable with an MT-50 display. The B series comes in 10A, 20A, and 30A models.

It is rebranded as the MISOL B series at parity or slight markup.

It is also rebranded as the Victron BlueSolar PWM-Pro 10A, 20A, and 30A at 2x the price. The MT-50 is rebranded as the Victron Remote Panel for BlueSolar PWM-Pro almost 3x the price.

The Viewstar BN series is configurable from the controller or from MT-50. It is available in 10A, 20A, 30A, 45A, and 60A models.

It is rebranded as the Renogy Viewstar in 20A and 30A models at 2x the price.

The Xantrex C series by Schneider Electric has field-adjustable setpoints for Vabs and Vfloat using knobs inside the case.

It is available in 12A, 35A, 40A, and 60A models.
