For vandwellers, having a campsite with “hookups” generally just means shore power.

For RVs, “hookups” and especially “full hookups” means shore power, fresh water, sewer hookups, etc.

In general, the more hookups the higher the cost. Camping without hookups of any kind is called boondocking.
