> I... use an alpicool [compressor refrigerator], in my transit van. It has 200w of panels on the roof and a separate 50Ah battleborn battery for powering things in the back (like the refrigerator). The 200w keeps the refrigerator running 24/7 with very little intervention needed. Every once in a while when it's cloudy for several days in a row I have to plug the van in if it's not getting driven a lot. The alternator charges the back when it's running, with a Victron smart relay in between the front and the back so that the back can't drain the starter battery when the van isn't running. - hoggernick((https://amzn.to/3yqTqb6)) > I... use an alpicool [compressor refrigerator], in my transit van.  +> I have an Alpicool T50, a 200w panel on the roof and a Bluetti EB70. The panel will charge the EB70 in about 6 hours, but it wouldn't really need to as the T50 will run, as a fridge no freezer, single zone, for about 32 hours on the EB70. Overnight run won't require a full charge. Ambient was in the 70s for that test and it will affect the run time if it's hotter or colder. -- piquat(https://www.reddit.com/r/urbancarliving/comments/se470h/keeping_food_cold_fridge_vs_cooler/huiv8uz/))
