Ongoing medication is not necesarily a disqualifier.

• Folks who need refrigerated meds like insulin can use 12v compressor fridges to keep meds cold. Power systems can run CPAP quite well.
• Folks who need frequent refills can have meds shipped to the closest post office and pick it up as General Delivery, or pick them up at walmart or other branch pharmacy.
• medication is often much cheaper across the border in Mexico of Canada

• some appointments can be handled over video
• the VA has a Traveling Veteran program
• medical/dental services are often much cheaper outside the US
