Assumptions made in the PVwatts estimate:
- with an unobstructed view of the sky (no shade)
- on an MPPT solar charge controller
These averages are based on insolation and meteorological data for many years and are specific to that location. Actual daily harvest will vary, so overpanel if you can and have sufficient battery bank capacity to get you through temporary lulls in harvest.
